Pipe burst story

Imagine it’s 2:00 am, you are comfortably tucked into bed and sound asleep. Next thing you know, you faintly hear a steady stream of water. You assume it’s just the toilet running so you ignore it, but the sound gets louder! You roll out of bed and see that there is water EVERYWHERE. Your pipe burst in the middle of the night. You are half asleep and your thought process is all over the place.  Where do you start? Who do you call? Is anyone even open? Thirty minutes later, your friendly SERVPRO technician is knocking on the door ready to help!

You show the technician where the leak occurred and he pulls out what you learn to be is a moisture meter. He starts taking measurements and discusses your drying plan.  Based on how much certain rooms were affected, the technician begins to place equipment. Once the problem is addressed and the drying has begun, he leaves and lets you get some sleep.
